That sounds absolutely PERFECT. It makes me miss the summers we spent at my grandparents’ house on Martha’s Vineyard (back when it was just a great, lazy, beautiful place that nobody had ever heard of).

Sounds like you had an absolutely delightful and relaxing time. I agree that there are not a lot of things as relaxing as a lovely day by the seaside with friends and good food.
